AI Title generation automatically creates a clear, actionable title based on the reporter's issue description. Reporters only need to describe their issue via one field, the description field, and Marker.io generates the title for them.
This removes the confusion between "title" and "description" fields, making it faster and easier for reporters to submit feedback.

How it works
Title field is hidden: When the feature is enabled, the title field is removed from the widget so reporters can focus on describing their issue
Reporter writes their feedback in the description field (and can use AI Rewrite if needed)
Marker.io generates a title automatically when the issue is submitted
The description stays untouched: Only the title is generated, the reporter's original description is preserved exactly as written
The generated title appears in Marker.io, your integrations (Jira, Linear, Asana, etc.), and anywhere else issues are displayed.
What makes a good generated title
AI-generated titles are designed to be:
Actionable: Starts with a verb when appropriate (Fix, Update, Add, Change)
Concise: 5-10 words that summarize the issue
Faithful: Preserves key phrases from the reporter's description

Setting up AI Title generation
Go to your Website > Settings
Navigate to the AI page
Enable AI Title generation
Save your settings
You can test the feature before enabling it by clicking Try it now in the settings to see how titles are generated from sample descriptions.
Identifying AI-generated titles
In the issue page, AI-generated titles are marked with an indicator, so your team knows the title was created automatically.
If someone manually edits the title after it was generated, the indicator is removed.

AI Title generation uses Amazon Bedrock for all processing. Your data is:
Never used to train AI models
Processed in isolation and not retained
Encrypted in transit and at rest
