Overview
AI Translation helps teams collect more detailed feedback by letting reporters write in their native language. Marker.io automatically detects the language of the reported issue and translates the issue title and description into your team's preferred language.
This is especially useful for teams with international reporters, testers in multiple countries, or multilingual websites.
AI Translation is optional and disabled by default. Teams can choose whether to enable it.
π‘ Beta
AI Translation is currently in beta and free to use for all teams. Pricing will be announced when the feature exits beta.

Edge cases
Same language: If a reporter submits feedback in the same language as your team's setting, Marker.io skips translation and delivers the original content.
Low confidence: If the AI cannot confidently translate the content (for example, very short text), the original content is delivered with an indicator explaining why translation was skipped.
Mixed languages: When feedback contains multiple languages (for example, a French description with English technical terms), Marker.io translates the content while preserving quoted text and code snippets.
For example:
Original (French): "Merci de modifier le titre sur la page d'accueil en "Promotions sur nos parfums pour le Black Friday".
Translated (English): "Please update the title on the home page to "Promotions sur nos parfums pour le Black Friday".
The quoted French text is preserved because it represents content the reporter wants to appear on the website.
Translation failures: If translation fails for any reason, your issue is still created with the original content. No feedback is lost.
