Marker.io is designed to provide a reliable, high-performance experience for every user. To ensure that remains the case, each plan comes with defined usage limits. This policy outlines those limits, what to expect if your usage exceeds them, and practical steps to manage your account.
Plan Usage Limits
Each Marker.io plan includes a specific allowance for projects. Guests are free and unlimited on every plan.
There's no page-view limit on any plan. To prevent abuse, we monitor accounts with unusually high page views, and we'll reach out if usage looks excessive.

How to Stay Within Your Plan Limits
If you're approaching or exceeding your plan limits, here are practical steps you can take to bring your usage back in line.
Reduce Projects
Archive completed projects. If a project is no longer in active development or testing, archive it. You can always restore it later if needed.

Beyond plan-specific limits, the following policies apply to all accounts to maintain a fair and secure environment.
Account Sharing
Each team member must have their own individual login credentials. Sharing a single paid account across multiple users, for example through a generic email such as markerio@yourcompany.com, is not permitted.
Reporter Role Usage
The Reporter role is intended exclusively for external users such as clients or stakeholders. It should not be used for internal team members, staging environments, or dedicated testers. If your internal team needs access, please assign them the appropriate seat on your plan.
What Happens If You Exceed These Limits?
If your usage consistently exceeds the limits of your current plan, here's what you can expect:
We'll reach out. Our team will contact you to discuss your usage and understand your needs.
We'll work with you on a path forward. That means either optimizing your usage using the steps above, upgrading to a plan that fits, or setting up a custom Enterprise arrangement.
If usage remains over limits, we'll apply restrictions to your account. This means you won't be able to add new projects or increase usage beyond current levels until your account is aligned with the appropriate plan.
Our priority is to keep Marker.io reliable and fair for all customers.
When You Need a Custom Plan
Standard plans work for most teams. But if any of the following apply, you likely need a Custom plan:
You're managing more than 50 projects
You require SSO, custom integrations, or dedicated support
