Feedback Notifications Overview

We now have both Slack and email notification capabilities. Below we discuss the various options and how you can edit them.


Slack Feedback Notifications

Add Slack Feedback Notifications

Slack Feedback notifications are now available on a per-project basis.

You can edit Slack notifications for:

  • New feedback

  • New comments

  • Feedback status changes

Email Feedback Notifications

Add Additional Email Notifications

You can receive Email notifications about important events in your projects like new feedback, comments, and status changes directly to your chosen email address.

To enable it, navigate to any project under Settings > Notifications.


Email Feedback Notifications Overview

Various email notifications are available on a per-project level. Email notifications depend on the user role and your team settings.

Public Reporter notifications:

  • After submitting new feedback.

  • Anyone comments on feedback they have reported or commented on.

  • Their issue has been marked as Resolved.

Guest notifications:

  • Anyone comments on feedback they have reported or commented on.

  • Their issue has been marked as Resolved.

Member notifications:

  • Anyone comments on feedback they have reported or commented on.

Edit Email Notifications

if you have your own internal notification workflow, you may wish to disable email notifications for reporters.
