What you can report on
The MCP server gives an AI assistant access to all your current and historical monitoring data, including:
Your website score and how it's changed over time.
Every full website scan, with its score and failing checks.
Scores for each page.
Failing checks, and which ones will raise your score the most.
Your monitoring settings.
Because you're working with an AI assistant, you decide what goes in the report and how it looks. You can also combine your Marker.io data with data from other tools you've connected to your assistant.
Before you start
You'll need an AI tool that supports MCP, like Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor, connected to the Marker.io MCP server. Setup takes a few minutes. See MCP setup guides for step-by-step instructions for each tool.
Create a report
Open your AI assistant.
Ask for the report you need. Include the project or domain, the time period and the format.
Review the report it creates.
Ask for any changes, like a shorter layout or your brand colors.
Download the report and send it to your client.
Here are a few requests to get you started:
"Give me an export of the latest scan history for acme.com with the score, and make a PDF I can show the client."
"Create a one-page summary of this month's accessibility score, with the five checks to fix first."
"Compare this month's scans with last month's, and list the issues we resolved."
"Add our logo and brand colors, and keep the report to four pages."
Check your report before you send it
Your report is only as clean as your data. Before you send it, check for:
Test pages: remove pages you only use for testing, so they don't lower the results.
One-off scans: a test run or a temporary change to your website shows up in your score history. Ask your assistant to leave it out or explain it.
The numbers: compare the key figures, like your current score, with your Overview in Marker.io.
