Key Features of the Marker.io Issue Page
Annotated Screenshots
The screenshot you submit shows up front and center. Any notes or highlights you added help the team spot the problem fast.
Session Replay Video
Sometimes, a screenshot isn’t enough. The session replay lets the dev team see exactly what you did before the issue popped up—like a mini screen recording.
Auto-Captured Technical Details
No need to copy-paste tech specs—Marker.io grabs them for you:
Detail | What It Shows |
Webpage URL | The exact page where the issue happened. |
Device Type | Desktop, tablet, or phone. |
Operating System | Windows, macOS, Android, iOS, etc. |
Browser Version | Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc. |
Screen Dimensions | Helps devs see how the page looked to you. |
Console Logs & Network Requests
For trickier bugs, devs can dive into:
Console Logs – Like a diary of what the website was doing.
Network Requests – Shows how the site was communicating in the background.
Commenting & Notifications
Stay in touch with your team:
Add comments, ask questions, or upload files.
Tag teammates with @mentions to loop them in.
Get email alerts anytime someone comments or tags you.
Sync with tools like Jira or Trello so nothing slips through the cracks.
💡 Want to disable comments on closed issues?
Go to: Project > Settings > General
→ Turn off “Users can post new comments when issues are Resolved or Archived.”
Issue Status Updates
When the issue status changes (e.g., to “Resolved”), you’ll get an email. You can:
Check if it’s fixed.
Reopen the issue if it’s still broken.
Add follow-up comments and tag teammates if needed.
Email & Slack Notifications
