Adding Marker.io to Squarespace

What You Need

Before you start, make sure your Squarespace website is on the Business or Commerce plan. This plan is required for the code injection feature, which we'll use to add Marker.io to your site.

Step-by-Step Guide

Follow these steps to get Marker.io up and running on your Squarespace website:

  1. Access the Home Menu
Begin by logging in to your Squarespace account. Once you're in, look for the Home menu on your dashboard. This is where you'll find the necessary settings to add Marker.io.

  2. Navigate to Settings
In the Home menu, click on Settings. This will open up a list of options where you can make various adjustments to your website.

  3. Go to Advanced Settings
After selecting Settings, scroll down and click on Advanced. This section contains more technical features that allow for customization.

  4. Select Code Injection
Inside the Advanced section, you'll find an option called Code Injection. Click on this to proceed to the area where you can add custom code snippets.

  5. Insert Marker.io JavaScript Snippet
Now it’s time to add the Marker.io code. Copy the JavaScript snippet provided by Marker.io and paste it into the Header section under Code Injection. This will ensure that the Marker.io widget appears on every page of your website.

  6. Save Your Changes
After you've added the code, make sure to click Save. This action will apply the changes to your website.

  7. Check for the Marker.io Widget
Once saved, visit your website to see the Marker.io widget in action. It should now be visible across your entire Squarespace site, ready to help visitors report any issues they encounter.
