With Marker.io, you can connect and manage multiple integrated accounts, like Jira, Trello, Asana, Shortcut etc. Here’s a step-by-step guide:

Setting Up Multiple Integrated Accounts

1. Connect Your First Account

To begin, connect your first account using Marker.io. For example, if you’re setting up Jira:

  1. Follow the instructions in the Jira documentation.

  2. Complete the setup for the first account, ensuring it’s properly connected to Marker.io.

Once connected, Marker.io will remember this account for any projects you assign it to.

2. Add Additional Accounts (Tip: Use Email Aliases if Needed)

Creating an Alias Email with the Plus (+) Trick

If your platform (like Jira or Trello) uses the same email address for login and you don’t want to create a brand-new email, you can create a quick alias using the plus sign trick—a neat little email hack that works with most providers like Gmail or Outlook.

For example, if your main email is:

Emails sent to these aliases will still land in your main inbox, but Marker.io (and many integration platforms) will recognize them as unique logins. This allows you to connect multiple accounts without juggling several inboxes.

Once your alias is ready:

  • Go to the Shared Accounts page: Marker.io Account Settings.

  • Click Add Account and log in with your new alias email and corresponding platform credentials.

3. Select the Right Account for Each Project

When creating a new project in Marker.io, you’ll have the option to choose from any of your connected accounts. Simply pick the account you’d like to use for that specific project and proceed to set up the project as usual.
