There are two ways to submit feedback through Marker.io, depending on how you got here.
You clicked a "Report Issue" button on a website, with no invite or account. You're a Reporter. No account needed. Skip to Report an issue below. You'll only be able to see and follow up on your own reports afterward.
You received an email invite to a specific project. You're a Guest. Create your account first, then report. As a Guest, you can also see feedback other Guests have submitted on that project, unless the project owner has turned that off.
If you're a Guest: accept your invite
Check your email for an invite from Marker.io.
Click Start reporting.
Fill in the short form to create your account.
Once you're set up, visit app.marker.io any time to add a profile picture or change your password.
Consider installing the browser extension for faster reporting. See Browser Extensions for setup on Chrome, Firefox, and Edge.
Report an issue
Click the Report Issue button on the website.
Marker.io captures a screenshot of the current page automatically.
Use the annotation tools to mark exactly what's wrong. Circle it, underline it, or draw an arrow to it.
Fill in the form describing the issue. Be specific: "The login button isn't responding when clicked" gets fixed faster than "login is broken."
Click Send.

What gets captured automatically
You don't need to describe any of this yourself. Marker.io captures it with every report:
Captured | What it tells your team |
Browser version | Which browser you're using |
Operating system | Your device's OS |
Page URL | The exact page the issue is on |
Console logs | Behind-the-scenes technical data |
After you report
Reporters: you'll be notified by email once your report is resolved. That's the extent of what you can do after submitting. No dashboard access.
Guests: you'll also get an email whenever there's a comment on your report or someone @mentions you. Every email links back to the issue page. See Issue Page for what you can do there: check status, reply with comments, upload additional files, and tag teammates.
