If you need to transfer your Marker.io account to someone else—whether to a new team member or an entirely different team—follow these steps.
1. Invite the New Owner
Go to your Member Settings and invite the new owner as an Admin.
Once they accept the invitation and set up their account, they can proceed with the next steps.
2. Remove Current Admin and Unnecessary Users
After the new owner is set up, they should review and remove any users who no longer need access.
Remove Guests: Manage guests
Remove Members: Manage members
3. Update Account Details
The new owner may also want to update the following:
Team Name: Edit here
Branding: Customize here
Billing Information (to ensure payments are under the correct account): Update billing
Connected Integrations (e.g., project management tools, reporting platforms):
Remove any outdated connections and add new ones as needed.
4. Final Steps
Once all updates are complete, the new owner can officially take over, and you can sign out knowing the transition is complete.
