Send bug reports and collect end user feedback via Marker.io directly into Wrike lists.
What you'll need
To set up this integration via Zapier, you'll need the following.
- A premium Zapier account
- A Team plan (or higher) Marker.io account
- A Wrike account
How it works?
First, you will need to set up a new Zap. Head over to Zapier and create a new Zap or use our existing template, with our pre-filled email body below 👇
In both cases, select Webhooks by Zapier as the app and for the event, select Catch Hook. Then, click Continue.
Zapier will then generate a new endpoint. Copy the URL to your clipboard.
2. Creating your destination
Next, head over to Marker.io and go to your destinations. Click Add destination. In the modal, select the Webhooks integration, chose a name and paste your newly created webhook endpoint. Click Add destination.
3. Receiving the data
Once your destination is created, Marker.io will instantly send a sample issue with dummy data.
Now, head back over to Zapier and under Find data, click TEST & REVIEW.
Zapier should have detected the issue and display the hook and the relevant data.
If Zapier does not find any sample data, you can try again, simply go to the Settings page of your new destination and under Endpoint, click Send sample issue. This will send a new sample issue to your Zapier endpoint.
Now, click Get More Samples in Zapier and you should see the new sample data
4. Creating a Task in Wrike
It's now time to have Zapier create a new task every time someone reports feedback in your new Webhooks destination.
Again, to speed up the process, feel free to use our Zap template 👇
If you decide to do it manually, in your new Zap, click on the next step and select Wrike as the app, select Create New Task as the action and then click Continue.
Next, you will need to configure the structure of your new Wrike task. Use the buttons on the right of the fields to insert the various variables that where received by the hook.
For instance, use the issue title and issue type in your new Task title. Feel free to customise your Task however you want. The following image is just a suggestion.
Again, if you're using our Zap template from above, this should step will be a lot easier as all variables and template will be pre-filled for you. For more information about the Wrike app, read their documentation here
Once you are done, click on Send data to send a test email based on your configuration. If you are not happy with the result, tweak the configuration at the previous step and click RETEST & REVIEW.
5. Turning on your Zap
Your Zap should now be ready and all that is left is to turn it on!
Your users will now be able to report issues as new task thanks to the combination of Marker.io's Webhooks integration and Zapier.
